About the role

Kura Cafe' is seeking a dedicated Purchasing Staff to join our team in Trece Martires City, Cavite. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain and inventory management. Your responsibilities will cover a range of purchasing and procurement tasks that are essential to the success of our manufacturing and logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Researching and identifying potential suppliers, negotiating favourable terms, and maintaining positive vendor relationships.
  2. Placing purchase orders, tracking order status, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  3. Monitoring inventory levels, identifying potential shortages, and implementing strategies to maintain optimal stock.
  4. Collaborating with the logistics team to coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of purchased items.
  5. Assisting in the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures.
  6. Inputting expenses and stock records into Excel, ensuring proper documentation, and segregating items per branch to track where each item will go.
  7. Generating reports and analysing data to support purchasing decisions and inventory management.

What we're looking for

  1. At least 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or inventory management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
  2. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers
  3. Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  4. Proficiency in using purchasing and inventory management software, as well as Microsoft Office applications
  5. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  6. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with cross-functional teams
