Purpose of the Position: Reporting to the General Accounting Manager, the accounting assistant is responsible for a variety of accounting duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Filing of documents
  • Monitor correspondence with project sites. Receive documents and distribute them to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain schedule for bank deposits and other reports delegated.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
  • Secures financial information by completing regular database backups.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Guides site accounting by coordinating activities and answering questions.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities that are required from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related.
  • No work experience is required.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must have a good command of the English language, oral and written.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task.
  • A reliable professional who follows the organization and department procedures; and completes tasks promptly.
  • Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
  • Must be amenable to work at Eastwood, Quezon City.
