Rival is looking for a
Technical Solutions Enginee
r to design, develop and support robust technical solutions that drive efficiency and innovation across the organization. This position plays a critical role in automating workflows, troubleshooting technical challenges and collaborating across teams to deliver scalable solutions. This role ensures seamless data flow and user-friendly experiences to support company growth and enhance customer experience.

Your contributions to Rival will include:

  • Translating written business requirements and specifications into functional and user-friendly electronic/web forms (eForms).
  • Configuring client software installs using a combination of web-based tools, installed tools, and standard web technologies (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS, XSLT).
  • Executing data extraction and delivery processes; analyze results and recommend process improvements.
  • Creating and delivering custom reports based on client or internal requests.
  • Performing thorough QA testing for eForms, portals and custom reports to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Documenting and reporting bugs, issues, and code defects across multiple browsers; conduct end-to-end validation and workflow testing.
  • Collaborating with the Delivery Services team to clarify development requirements and address ambiguities.
  • Escalating changes in scope, timeline, or complexity to management proactively.
  • Utilizing Javascript, CSS, and HTML to contribute to the development of user-friendly interfaces and enhance overall user experiences.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and contribute to the development of comprehensive solutions.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, virtual team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities successfully to meet strict deadlines.
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem resolution abilities.
  • Extensive functional experience with standard web technologies (HTML, PHP, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS, etc.).
  • Demonstrates creative, technical and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with computer software and MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' experience developing websites and/or web forms is preferred.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML for front-end development.
  • Experience in Microsoft stack (C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET) is preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of XML and JSON data structures is highly preferred.
