Job Role

The QA Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all incoming and cross-docked products are checked, evaluated and analyzed according to established inspection plan and conforms to established product standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

RECEIVING / INSPECTION OF INCOMING RAW MATERIALS

·       Conducts quality inspection of all incoming materials following established inspection plan and quality standards.

  • Inspects the cleanliness and sanitation and temperature compliance of delivery trucks/containers; including the compliance of delivery personnel to required personal hygiene/dress code.
  • Regularly calibrates all measuring tools and equipment.
  • Conducts physico-chemical analysis off samples/products submitted by suppliers every delivery.

DISPATCHING / INSPECTION OF RAW MATERIALS

·       Ensures that all materials and products for dispatch to the stores are within set standards and specifications and conducts rice testing and sensory evaluation.

  • Monitors the cleanliness and sanitation of the storage areas and its compliance to required temperature.

REPORTING

·       Conducts regular supplier audit.

·       Submits daily monitoring/receiving/dispatch report.

·       Summarizes monthly accomplishment reports and submit the same to the Section Lead or Manager.

·       Reports immediately all quality deviations to the Section Lead or Manager through phone; documents all noted deviations using the Supplier Alert form.

·       Performs other duties as maybe assigned by Section Lead or Manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Biology or equivalent.

At least 1-2 years' work experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.

Flexible and capable of adapting to changes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
