Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to support our financial operations within the heavy equipment industry. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise and proficiency in Mandarin for effective coordination with the executives. The position involves close collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and efficient communication.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy. (CPA not required, but nice to have)
  • At least 1-3 years of accounting experience in retail, construction, engineering, logistics, automotive, heavy equipment, or an accounting firm.

Core Responsibilities:

Internal Stakeholder Support:

  • Manage full accounting cycle: general ledger, reconciliations, payables, and receivables.
  • Oversee cash flow, budgets, and expense monitoring to support operational decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine financial regulations and internal controls.

Client & Partner Interaction:

  • Communicate and coordinate with Chinese executives and partners (Mandarin required).
  • Assist in preparing financial data and reports for client presentations or external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits or inspections.
  • Provide timely responses to client or partner financial inquiries.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify cost optimization opportunities.
  • Deliver management reports that support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Ensure financial transparency and consistency across all reports shared internally and externally.

Success in the Role:

  • Must be analytical with good problem-solving skills.
  • Has high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to interact across teams and with international executives.
  • Flexible and adaptable to fast-paced environments with shifting priorities, willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
