A Manufacturing Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and providing insights to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and interpret data related to manufacturing operations to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, and IT, to ensure alignment on business objectives and process improvements.
  • Reporting: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track performance metrics and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL), and excellent communication abilities.

  • The role may involve working in both office and manufacturing settings, requiring the ability to adapt to different environments and collaborate with various teams.
