About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and creative Social Media Marketing Manager to support our newly launched senior living job portal. Your mission will be to develop and execute social media strategies that elevate our brand visibility, drive engagement, and build a loyal online community.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in content creation, campaign execution, and brand storytelling. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited to bring fresh, design-oriented ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Content Creation
- Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Youtube, and Reddit.
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content (graphics, videos, captions) to build brand awareness and audience engagement.
- Monitor trends and competitor activity to keep our content fresh and relevant.
Community & Channel Management
- Manage our daily presence on LinkedIn (page & founder amplification), Facebook caregiver groups, and Reddit.
- Publish 3-5 weekly posts designed to drive traffic to our job search, blog, and signup pages.
- Respond to comments, DMs, and community inquiries daily; escalate any issues or bugs.
- Foster engagement by starting helpful threads in caregiver groups (e.g., local roundups, resume tips).
Growth & Distribution
- Create pre-filtered job links with UTM tags for targeted campaigns.
- Repurpose blog content into social snippets and help run our weekly jobs + tips email digest.
- Conduct light partnership outreach to nursing programs and senior-living associations for link shares and mentions.
- Promote saved searches, job alerts, and newsletter opt-ins across all channels.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track key metrics like signups, apply-clicks, and traffic by channel using GA4 and UTMs.
- Deliver a weekly KPI report with actionable insights and recommendations for A/B tests.
What You Bring (Must-Have Skills)
- 2+ years of experience in community, social media, or growth marketing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent short-form copywriting skills—clear, helpful, and non-spammy.
- Hands-on experience managing LinkedIn, Facebook Groups, and Reddit for a brand.
- Proficiency with UTM builders, Google Analytics (GA4), and basic data dashboards.
- Comfort with basic design in Canva or Figma, and Markdown/HTML for content creation.
Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Resend, MailerLite, ConvertKit).
- Experience in senior-living, healthcare staffing, or marketing to a caregiver audience.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles (title tags, meta descriptions, internal linking).

- OS: Windows 10 or macOS.
- Display: 15-inch or larger screen (1920x1080 resolution or higher).
- Battery Life: Minimum of 8 hours.
