We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Estimator to join our team as a dedicated remote estimator. In this key role, you will manage all estimating activities, including tender preparation, cost analysis, and bid submissions for a wide range of civil construction projects.

Your Role:

  • Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for civil works including earthworks, drainage, utilities, roads, kerbing, and structures.
  • Review and analyse tender documentation, drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs using 3D take-off software.
  • Develop and maintain unit rates for labour, plant, and materials.
  • Benchmark costs using historical data, subcontractor quotes, and market pricing.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, project managers, and engineers to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
  • Submit approximately 20 tenders per month.

  • Site clearing and grubbing
  • Detailed and bulk earthworks
  • Roads, kerbing, and drainage works

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years experience as a Civil/Infrastructure Estimator in construction.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with Australian companies.
  • Proficient with 3D take-off software.
  • Solid understanding of civil construction methods.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders in a fast-paced environment.
