The Department of Science and Technology Office XI (DOST XI) invites applicants to fill the following position: Position Title : Project Technical Assistant I

Salary Grade : 10 (30,703.00 monthly)

Place of Assignment : DOST XI Regional Office

Division : Technical Services Division

No. of vacancies : 1

Qualification Standards:

Education: Graduate of any Science/Technology/Engineering course (degree in Packaging Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science/Engineering is a plus)

Training: Minimum of 8 hours relevant training

Experience: With one (1) year relevant experience

Eligibility: CS Professional or RA 1080

Competence: Knowledgeable in packaging and label design standards and 3D Modeling (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva and similar applications); Experience in graphic design is a plus

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the implementation of the project as reflected in the program of activities;

  • Designs various graphics and information materials (publications, newsletters, print media, infographics);

  • Process requests on the development of package and label designs;

  • Monitors and submits functional objective reports for packaging and labeling design;

  • Provides technical support services in the division (TSD); and

  • Performs other related functions as may be assigned from time to time.
