We are looking for a Sage Accountant to join our growing accounting team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and highly proficient in using Sage accounting software to manage financial data, perform reconciliations, and ensure accuracy in reporting. You will collaborate closely with our finance and management teams to maintain organized financial records and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Sage software
  • Prepare and post journal entries, general ledgers, and adjustments
  • Handle bank and account reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax preparers as needed
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations for process improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 2–3 years of accounting experience
  • Proficient in Sage accounting software (Sage 50, Sage Intacct, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Can work on a graveyard shift and as an Independent Contractor
