Position: Senior Bookkeeper

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

● Assist with month-end close duties, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

● Perform periodic cash reconciliations and support weekly/monthly cash reporting and forecasts.

● Responsible for recording transactions in ledgers, including scheduled computations of accruals,

● cost allocations, and reclassifications.

● Prepare and maintain basic account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

● Provide support with Accounts Receivable (AR) collections, including customer follow-up via email and retailer portals.

● Process and submit claims against deductions taken through retailer portals.

● Support AR and other General Ledger cleanup projects, including resolving aged receivable discrepancies and improving reporting accuracy.

● Collaborate with and support other departments including brand operations, logistics, or others, as needed.

● Provide accounting support for ad-hoc projects, year-end audit and tax compliance, or as otherwise needed.

● Bachelor's Degree with an Accounting or Finance concentration (Licensed CPA a "nice to have").

● 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in general ledger, reconciliations, and AR.

● Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications.

● High level of proficiency with Excel (critical)

● In-depth QuickBooks experience

● Experience with ERP systems such as Sage X3 or Netsuite (Sage X3 and SEI reporting, a "nice to have").

● Solid grasp of finance, accounting concepts and GAAP. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Strong sense of accountability and ownership. Demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently.

● Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

● Collaborative, professional, and service-oriented attitude.

● High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

Shift / Hours:

Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM PHT – 12:00 AM in PHT.

Note: Must be able and willing to work 1-2 hours of overtime, as needed to fulfill the needs of the position. This may occur during month end close (between the 5th and 15th), and due to projects.
