Position Overview

The Senior Kitchen Designer is responsible for creating and executing specialized kitchen designs for large-scale and high-value projects. This role requires advanced technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to translate client requirements into efficient, functional, and aesthetically sound kitchen layouts. The Senior Kitchen Designer collaborates closely with clients, project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure that every design meets operational, safety, and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Execution

  • Develop comprehensive kitchen designs and layouts for large or specialized projects, ensuring functionality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Produce detailed technical drawings, 3D renderings, and specifications using professional design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
  • Recommend appropriate equipment, materials, and finishes suited for high-demand and large-scale kitchens.
  • Incorporate safety, ergonomics, and sustainability principles into every design.

Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors to gather requirements and integrate them into design solutions.
  • Participate in client meetings and design presentations, providing expert advice and alternative solutions when needed.
  • Conduct site visits for measurements, layout verification, and coordination of design implementation.
  • Assist project managers in ensuring that design deliverables align with project timelines and budgets.

Specialized Focus

  • Handle complex or large projects that require advanced design expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Research and integrate the latest innovations in kitchen equipment, workflow efficiency, and space utilization.
  • Provide accurate design documentation to support procurement and installation teams.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in kitchen design, preferably with exposure to large-scale or specialized projects.
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, layouts, materials, and operational flow.
  • Excellent technical drawing and spatial planning abilities.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills for working with clients and project teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
