About the role

As the P6 Primavera Project Scheduler you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of complex construction projects. In this full-time position based, you will leverage your expertise in Primavera P6 to coordinate the various moving parts of large-scale projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to align on milestones and optimise workflows.

What you'll be doing

  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, incorporating all tasks, dependencies, and resource requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather information and incorporate changes to the schedule
  • Analyse schedule performance, identify potential risks and bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track
  • Generate progress reports, dashboards, and other visualisations to communicate schedule status and projected timelines to stakeholders
  • Provide training and support to project teams on the use of Primavera P6 and best practices in construction scheduling
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in project management tools and techniques

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a P6 Primavera Project Scheduler in the construction industry
  • Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 software and strong understanding of scheduling principles and techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve schedule-related issues
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex schedule information to diverse stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills to work cross-functionally and coordinate project activities
  • Familiarity with construction management software, including BIM tools, is preferred
