Scheduling Manager

Education Requirement:

•Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Industrial or Quantity surveying.

•Primavera P6 certified (Currently working in P6 latest version).

Technical Knowledge, Special Trainings, and Work Experience:
Work Experience:

•Minimum 7 – 10 years planning/scheduling experience, preferably in the renewable energy or construction industry.

•A minimum of 5 years of site construction or on-field experience would be highly preferable.

Technical Knowledge:

•Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project.

•Knowledge in maintaining the Scheduling database (Oracle Database) is preferred.

•Strong knowledge in MS office (preferably in MS Excel).

•Strong knowledge in handling multiple programs.

•Strong understanding of scheduling methodologies, project controls principles, and critical path analysis is required.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•Ability to lead the team.

•Sound problem-solving techniques and skills.

•Renewable energy project experience is preferred.

Job Description:

· Schedule Development

• Lead, develop, adjust, and maintain the integrated project schedule, working closely with the project team to ensure all the scope of the works, milestones, key deliverables, Interfaces, owners and contractor obligations are covered.

• Evaluate and review the individual contractors schedule, ensure the activities are logically linked, facilitate the project team to review and approve the schedule and facilitate the development of Interface management plans with the project teams accordingly

• Work closely with the project teams to plan and develop achievable and accurate project schedules.

• Facilitate the project teams to baseline the project schedule and track the progress against the schedule.

• Develop and maintain the standard schedule review, approval, and schedule change management system.

• Develop and maintain the standard work breakdown structure for the project schedules.

• Develop and maintain the standard progress tracking system for all the projects to measure the overall progress completion for each project.

• Plan, develop and maintain resource requirements for each project based on needs and priorities.

• Develop and maintain the standard scheduling reporting system.

· Schedule Monitoring and Control

• Ensure the project schedule reflects the realistic project plans, indicating the potential risks, dependencies & constraints.

• Maintain the baseline schedule and update the progress percentage regularly.

• Maintain the overall project progress tracking system and update the progress regularly.

• Provide a forecast completion date for each project.

• Review the planning and scheduling reports for the different projects, highlight the area of concerns to the head of project controls and the project controls manager/respective project managers. Ensure the project teams follow the ACEN TSI standards set by the project controls department.

• Analysis of Planned Vs Actual on time and quantity

• Analysis of Planned Vs Actual manpower of the contractors/project teams.

• Facilitate the schedule review meeting with the site project teams.

• Identify the critical path activities that could potentially delay the project and report to the head of project controls and project controls manager/respective project manager.

• Identify and quickly resolve the potential scheduling conflicts, resource requirements, and other operational disruptions with the project teams.

• Maintain the project database (P6 database) and ensure all the projects are up to date.

• Maintain the project delay register, provide details and evaluation on claims and variation requests.

• Work with project teams and relevant departments to address the delays, providing mitigation strategies and corrective actions wherever needed.
