ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is responsible for developing and enhancing Power Query functions to optimize the clean up and transformation of supplier inventory catalogs. The individual will ensure the all data sets are reformatted to align with our standardized upload format to integrate with our internal platform. They will also contribute to maintaining data integrity processes by improving existing queries and supporting consistent workflows. Strong technical skills in Power Query, attention to detail, and a commitment to clean reliable date are essential for success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze inventory data formatting in our supplier catalogs and use power query to manipulate that data to conform to a specified format.
  • Identify structural data patterns and opportunities to automate data transformation steps.
  • Anticipate and troubleshoot errors.
  • Provide training on Power Query knowledge upon completion.
  • Ensure data cleaning, standardization and validation before Quality Assurance steps.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics or it's equivalent.
  • 3+yrs of proven data analysis work experience.
  • Advance Power Query and Excel skills.
  • Experience in databases, data procedures and data administration.
  • Critical thinker with attention to detail.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your work.
  • Above average communication skills.
  • Amenable working in US Time zone.
  • Can START ASAP
