About the Role

The Technical Engineer ensures the successful delivery of Dezu's technical projects and services by providing product expertise, leading the Service Team during on-site work, and ensuring all technical outputs meet client and company standards. This role bridges Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations, ensuring that every project from pre-sales assessment to close-out is executed with high quality, safety, and accuracy.

This is a technical operations role suitable for someone who can combine engineering know-how, project execution, and team coordination.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Technical Support Deliverables for Sales

• Deliver accurate technical inputs, product validations, and site assessments to support Sales in scoping and proposal creation.
• Produce client-ready technical documents such as Method Statements, technical clarifications, and product application guides.

2. Project Execution Deliverables

• Deliver end-to-end project execution plans, including scope, manpower load plan, timeline, and safety requirements.'
• Lead and manage the Service Team on-site to ensure project outputs meet quality and safety standards.
• Ensure all installation, commissioning, or service work is completed according to approved specifications and client requirements.

3. Service & Maintenance Deliverables

• Deliver scheduled preventive maintenance plans and ensure proper execution by the Service Team.
• Provide technical findings, corrective actions, and improvement recommendations after every maintenance or troubleshooting activity.

4. Documentation & Compliance Deliverables

• Produce complete and accurate documentation for every project, including service reports, photos, checklists, and as-built information.
• Submit all required technical files within project timelines to support billing, client turnover, and internal audit requirements.
• Submit material requests, manpower plans, and technical requirements ahead of project deployment.

6. Project Close-Out Deliverables

• Deliver comprehensive project close-out reports and client turnover documents.
• Prepare summary presentations outlining work done, issues encountered, and recommendations for improvement.

Great to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related fields preferred).
• At least 1–3 years of experience in technical, engineering, or project-based roles.
• Experience leading a small team is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and product manuals.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and internal teams.
• Willing to do field work and manage on-site teams.
