About the role

DN Steel is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Buyer to join our team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment to support the company's manufacturing and logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with internal departments to identify purchasing needs and requirements
  • Research and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships
  • Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely fulfillment of orders
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages
  • Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures
  • Prepare purchase reports and analyses to support decision-making
  • Continuously seek opportunities to optimize the purchasing process and drive cost savings

What we're looking for

  • Graduate of any four-year business course or its equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities
