The Area Head is responsible for administering and controlling the operations of branches in the assigned area, ensuring cost efficiency, manpower productivity, and competitiveness. The role also contributes to business development through industry updates, trend analysis, and recommendations for new branch openings.

The Area Head develops and implements marketing strategies set by the region, while overseeing branch security, integrity, and personnel safety in coordination with the Security Division.

A. Area Operations Planning and Monitoring

• Prepares area operating plans and programs, including budgets, for Regional Head review and approval.
• Determines and requests area operational needs for funding, logistics, equipment, manpower, and capital expenditures.
• Reviews manpower requirements, coordinates with Talent Assessment and Acquisition for hiring, and approves daily branch manning.
• Implements marketing programs and recommends local initiatives to boost branch sales.
• Coaches and mentors teams to ensure alignment with corporate goals, policies, and procedures.
• Keeps abreast of market trends and provides updates to Regional Head for product development.
• Conducts monthly branch spot checks covering cash counts, appraisals, security checks, and customer service evaluation.
• Monitors branch cash positions, approves transfers, and coordinates branch security needs.
• Manages pullout and delivery of foreclosed items and reviews business development initiatives for assigned branches.

B. Financial Management

• Oversees and monitors area performance relative to sales targets, forecasts, and budgets.
• Allocates approved targets, strategies, and budgets within the assigned area.
• Reviews consolidated branch sales reports to identify strategies for improvement.
• Monitors competitor growth and adjusts strategies accordingly.
• Reviews and approves branch operating expenses.

C. Branch Expansion, Repair, Transfer, and Closure

• Scouts for potential branch expansion sites and prepares business proposals.
• Identifies market opportunities and recommends strategic branch locations.
• Oversees pre-launch preparations including renovations, compliance, and staffing.
• Recommends branch repairs, transfers, or closures and handles related documentation.

D. Leadership

• Coaches subordinates in delivering excellent customer service and driving product sales.
• Coordinates with Product Group for technical concerns from branches.
• Promotes teamwork and harmonious relationships among all personnel in the area.
• Determines training and development needs for employees.
• Enforces company policies and administrative actions when necessary.
• Indirectly manages Area Accounting, Technical Services, and Administrative staff.
• Resolves client complaints in collaboration with the Client Relations Department.
• Partners with HRDD for employee development and career planning.

E. Other Duties

• Assigns retail prices to rematado appliances and ensures proper sales documentation.
• Leads area meetings and supports professional development programs.
• Provides recommendations for business process improvement.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Graduate of any four-year course, preferably with Master's degree units.
• At least five (5) years of work experience in sales, distribution, operations, or related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of pawnshop operations, sales, and financial management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and business management skills.

• Location: Tuguegarao

• Exposure to outdoor conditions (heat, dust, rain) and external business environments.
