JOB SUMMARY

The Encoder is responsible for data entry function, sales support and inventory function and other responsibilities.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Data entry function

Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities according to supplies description and prices.

Processes suppliers and accounts source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the Store Purchaser for resolution.

Enters supplies / stocks and account data by inputting information on system.

Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.

Verifies entered stocks and accounts data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.

Tests supplies and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data; reviewing output.

Secures information by completing data base backups.

Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  1. Sales support and inventory functions

Performs sales support to processes / reading and cash counts of daily sales.

Maintains accurately monitoring and checks the loading and unloading stocks.

Assists and monitors fast moving and slow moving items.

Monitors and coordinates with Store Purchaser for availability of stocks.

Arranges and organizes stocks shelve for display.

Assists or helps for stocks pricing for display.

Other Responsibilities

Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

Assists store operation and helps / resolves customers' complaints.

Understanding, continuing update and compliance of the relevant policies, procedures and service delivery standards of this position.

Understanding, continuing update and compliance of the human resources policies, procedures and code of conduct; while promoting management, team and cross department support, leadership, professionalism and good relations.

Performs other related duties and functions assigned by the Operations Officer.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to Php481.00 per day
