General Ledger/Closing Accountant

Location: Makati City

Work Set-up: Hybrid (3x onsite, 2x WFH)

Schedule: 9AM–6PM, Monday to Friday (may adjust or render OT during quarter-end/year-end)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform reconciliations before period lock (bank, accruals, prepaids, etc.)
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions
  • Reclassify and adjust accounts; complete related reports on time
  • Prepare and file tax returns and reports
  • Generate Balance Sheet and P&L statements; assist in analysis
  • Support audit requests
  • Handle other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • CPA required
  • At least 5 years of solid accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge in general accounting, GL, and bookkeeping
  • Basic audit experience
  • Skilled in closing functions: intercompany, tax, FX, month-end, foreign currency
  • Experience handling group of companies and global entities
  • Proficient in financial reports, journal entries, VAT, income tax, etc.
  • Skilled in Microsoft and finance apps; NetSuite/ERP is a plus
  • Experience in Big 4 or multinational companies preferred
