Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain Director to lead and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations within our healthcare organization. This role is responsible for overseeing procurement, logistics, vendor management, inventory control, and distribution, ensuring the seamless availability of critical medical supplies and equipment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in supply chain management within the healthcare sector, with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and patient-centered outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals and healthcare regulations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize supply disruptions.
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track and evaluate supply chain effectiveness.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management
  • Oversee sourcing and contracting of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring quality standards.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and manage risks to guarantee timely and reliable supply.
  • Inventory & Logistics Management
  • Direct inventory planning, forecasting, and optimization to balance cost with availability.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of medical supplies across facilities.
  • Oversee transportation, warehousing, and last-mile delivery to healthcare sites.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols.
  • Mitigate risks related to supply shortages, regulatory changes, and market volatility.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and clinical teams to maintain high safety standards.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
  • Partner with clinical, finance, and operations leaders to align supply chain strategies with patient care priorities.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in healthcare or life sciences.
  • Proven leadership in procurement, logistics, and vendor management.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements (FDA, DOH, JCI, ISO, etc.).
  • Expertise in supply chain systems (ERP, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to drive strategic initiatives.

Preferred Attributes

  • Certification in supply chain management (CSCP, CPSM, or equivalent).
  • Experience managing large-scale hospital or multi-facility supply chain operations.
  • Strong background in crisis management and supply continuity planning.
  • Ability to balance cost efficiency with quality and patient safety.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php280, Php350,000.00 per month
