Job Summary:

  • Seeking a QA Engineer with expertise in Python testing, CI/CD automation, and web application
  • functionality testing. This role involves creating detailed test cases and ensuring seamless integration
  • from development to deployment. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with developers by
  • providing detailed test cases to optimize software quality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop and execute detailed test cases based on project requirements.

● Provide detailed test cases for each feature/page of the web application to developers to assist in writing mock unit tests.

● Conduct manual and automated testing for frontend and backend systems.

● Ensure unit tests, integration tests, regression tests, end-to-end tests, and negative testing

scenarios are covered by providing appropriate test cases to developers.

● Perform stress testing to ensure system stability under heavy load.

● Conduct load testing using tools like JMeter to measure system performance.

● Automate CI/CD pipelines from Git version control to deployed servers.

● Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools such as JIRA.

● Ensure frontend usability and validate functionality across web and mobile platforms.

● Work closely with developers to improve code quality and optimize application performance.

● Perform security, performance, and load testing to ensure system reliability.

● Execute negative testing to validate system behavior under unexpected inputs or invalid

conditions.

● Continuously refine and improve testing frameworks and methodologies.

● Attend daily Stand Up, weekly Sprint Planning and Retrospective.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python for automated testing (Pytest, Selenium, or related tools).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Git, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of web application functionality and UI testing.
  • Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and issue tracking tools (JIRA).
  • Ability to write and maintain detailed test cases for different scenarios.
  • Experience with cross-browser and mobile testing.
  • Understanding of performance, regression, end-to-end, security, and negative testing methodologies.
  • Experience in stress testing and load testing using tools like JMeter and Django test frameworks.
  • Experience in JIRA for agile project management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php25,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Taguig
