About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Azure Databricks Engineer to join our data engineering team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions within the Azure ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, build efficient data pipelines, and ensure high performance and reliability across our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks and related Azure services
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate data requirements into technical solutions
  • Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
  • Apply ETL techniques and data warehousing principles to support business intelligence and analytics
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues across various environments
  • Maintain documentation and ensure best practices in data engineering processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks
  • Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages
  • Strong understanding of data integration strategies, ETL frameworks, and data warehousing concepts
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or other Azure data services
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control tools
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
