One of our clients is seeking an experienced Azure Administrator & DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize their Azure infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across global environments. This role requires hands-on expertise in Azure administration, DevOps automation, and cloud security best practices.

You will play a key part in implementing scalable cloud solutions, supporting analytics platforms like Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics, and driving automation through CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.

Core Responsibilities

Azure Infrastructure Management

  • Manage and maintain Azure infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.
  • Implement and support Azure networking components, including vNet, NSGs, VPN Gateways, and ExpressRoute.
  • Apply and monitor security controls across Azure resources to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

DevOps & Automation

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated deployments across environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the application lifecycle.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC), conditional access policies, and identity protection strategies.
  • Monitor and respond to alerts using Azure Security Center and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
  • Ensure data protection and compliance with enterprise and industry standards.

Monitoring & Optimization

  • Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to track performance and diagnose issues.
  • Conduct regular cost and performance reviews to optimize resource usage and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Azure administration and networking.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and Power BI dataflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
