Azure Data Engineer
to join their IT team in the Philippines.

This role is pivotal in managing the organization's Microsoft Fabric and Azure data infrastructure. You'll be responsible for maintaining secure, scalable datasets, optimizing data workflows, and supporting business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate is technically curious, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

During the initial training period and the first 6 months of employment, team members are required to work on-site full time. Upon successful completion of probation, hybrid work arrangements will be considered in consultation with the Account Manager. The standard hybrid model consists of three days in the office and two days working from home. The office is located at Bonifacio Stopover, Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Fabric and Azure data environments, including OneLake, SQL Analytics, Data Factory, and Runbooks.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot ETL/ELT workflows to ensure seamless data movement and integrity across systems.
  • Support reporting and analytics initiatives by maintaining datasets and collaborating with BI analysts and stakeholders.
  • Implement scripting solutions for data updates and API ingestion, contributing to automation and efficiency.
  • Maintain documentation of data flows, lineage, and transformations to support transparency and version control.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and optimal use of Fabric capacity by preventing duplication and maintaining consistency.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance performance.

Skills, Experience & Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in data administration, integration, and workflow orchestration preferably using Microsoft Azure and Fabric technologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric components: OneLake, SQL Analytics, Data Factory, and Runbooks.
  • Working knowledge of Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and API ingestion.
  • Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, with experience in scripting and automation.
  • Strong attention to detail, accountability, and documentation practices.
  • Growth-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Exposure to ERP systems like SAP is a plus but not required.
