About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at BBH Textile Trading as the Country Head, based in Makati City, Metro Manila. As the Country Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and driving the growth and success of the company's business in the Philippines. This is a full-time, permanent role.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's market share and achieve ambitious growth targets
  • Lead and motivate a team of talented professionals to deliver exceptional results
  • Oversee all aspects of the country's operations, including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain management
  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and manage key stakeholder relationships
  • Ensure the company's products and services meet the evolving needs of the local market
  • Represent the company at industry events and build a strong brand presence
  • Collaborate with the global leadership team to align the country's strategy with the overall corporate vision

What we're looking for

  • Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role within the retail or consumer products industry, preferably in a multi-site or multi-country environment
  • Excellent strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities
  • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to interpret and analyse financial data to drive business performance
  • Exceptional people management and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key partners
  • Deep understanding of the local market and consumer trends in the Philippines
  • Fluency in English and Filipino languages
