We are seeking a Content Localization Operations Specialist to lead our localized content, social media operations, and creative execution for the Philippine market. This role focuses on adapting global content into engaging, culturally relevant materials, developing data-driven strategies, building a local video production pipeline, and supporting brand growth across major platforms.

The ideal candidate understands Filipino digital culture, stays ahead of trends, and has hands-on experience managing or operating social media accounts—preferably in fintech, lending apps, or similar industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Editing & Localization

  • Localize and edit social media video content for the Philippine audience across platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.
  • Translate scripts, captions, and on-screen texts into Tagalog (and other local dialects if needed) with cultural accuracy and sensitivity.
  • Adapt creatives based on platform best practices (e.g., TikTok challenges, IG Stories/Reels formats).
  • Conduct ongoing A/B tests on copy, thumbnails, hooks, and CTAs to optimize performance.

2. Competitive Analysis & Strategy Development

  • Research competing apps and brands in the Philippines.
  • Analyze competitors' content strategies, posting frequency, engagement tactics, and audience behavior.
  • Monitor key industry metrics including follower growth, ad trends, viral topics, and short-form video evolution.
  • Provide regular reports with insights, risks, and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Recommend localized content strategies aligned with user needs and market trends.

3. Holiday, Trend & Promotional Campaign Execution

  • Ideate and plan campaigns for major holidays (e.g., Christmas, Independence Day), local events, and cultural celebrations.
  • Identify viral trends and incorporate them into fast-turnaround content.
  • Work with internal teams to execute promotions, engagement drives, and seasonal marketing activities tailored to Filipino audiences.

4. Local Video Materials Team Building

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a local team of video creators, editors, and talents as needed.
  • Ensure consistent production of high-quality local videos aligned with brand voice and compliance requirements.
  • Set processes for content planning, production, review, and publishing.

5. Cross-Team Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with global marketing, product, and compliance teams to ensure cultural alignment and timely deliverables.
  • Maintain structured documentation of execution progress, insights, and content output.

Job RequirementsMust-Have Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of experience in social media operations, content localization, marketing, or creative production.
  • Strong understanding of Filipino digital culture, humor, trends, and audience behavior.
  • Experience managing or assisting social media accounts for brands, influencers, apps, or agencies.
  • Ability to edit videos using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or Canva.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication in English and Tagalog.
  • Strong attention to detail, cultural nuance, and brand consistency.
  • Ability to analyze social media data and turn insights into actionable strategies.

  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with rapid content turnaround.
