JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Finance Manager, shall be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with the requirements of different government agencies.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Checks that proper tax is applied on every payment and remitted to BIR on time.

-PAYMENT PROCESSING – approves Accounts Payable Voucher (APV) for payment after validation of documents.

-BIR Remittance – Checks the accurateness of the supporting tax schedules and BIR forms itself before payment to BIR

  • Ensures submission of the required documents to different Government Bodies.
  • Assists Accounting Supervisor in preparing In-House Financial Statements and Financial Statements for external auditors.
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned by superior from time to time.
  • Files and maintain documents in accordance with the record management system of the company.
  • Prepare and review periodic reports needed or required by other departments or top management.
  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned by superior from time to time.

QUALIFICATION

Education: BS Accountancy graduate

Experience: 3 years of experience (preferably in real estate industry) focus on general accounting.

PREFERRED COMPETENCIES

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office (excel)
