GENERAL

1) Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the  Department Manager or the designate.

REGULATORY

1) Handles all regulatory requirements of the Food Portfolio.

2) Assists with audit compliance requirements in relation to BU-Food.

3) Ensures appropriate legal, quality compliance and product registration with FDA of all BU-Food raw materials.

4) Assists regulatory personnel (usually Pharmacists) with all government compliance requirements needed.

5) Prepares weekly report and updates list of all raw materials registered with FDA and submits to the Supervisor/Manager.

6) Inspects incoming shipments of Food Ingredients during arrival and submits a detailed "Raw Materials Inspection Report", including all deficiencies/findings in the shipment and/or product, and alerts all concerned parties if such a condition is present in the shipment, within 24 hours of arrival at the Warehouse.

7) Validates Quality Control Form prepared by Sales Coordinators for correct disposition and proper inspection of Food raw materials before delivery to clients.

8) Communicates with suppliers (foreign or domestic) on technical inquiries & resolving all issues concerning quality claims, shipment findings and negotiates a favourable solution its clients.

9) Responsible for all Samples of Food Raw Materials, packing, storage, shelf life, and inventory.

10) Monitors status, developments and test results of samples submitted to clients to ensure sample approval resulting to client's order, and closely coordinates with Supervisor/Manager on any relevant development concerning the market, client, competition, and supplier side.

11) Conducts quarterly inventory of retained samples.

12) Prepares final disposition of all food raw materials under quarantine and samples for disposal.

MARKETING

1) Orients the Food Product Portfolio to Sales Representatives handling food clients and assists in the orientation of these products to other personnel when required.

2) Attends to client's inquiries pertaining to client's laboratory testing, and ensures proper testing submitted sample.

3) Assists Supervisors/Managers on the preparation of product presentations, marketing portfolios & peripherals, and other relevant product marketing activities & preparations.

4) Updates the Company on the latest market information and provides beneficial & relevant surveys (on products, industries or clients) resulting to the development of more effective strategies to increase/improve supplier/product/service portfolio thus resulting to sales productivity & profitability.

5) Conducts and/or assists in the search of new suppliers who can provide specified products, competitive prices, or parameters set by clients which existing suppliers are unable to provide.

6) Visits clients to monitor and service the needs of each client (either for own-assigned accounts or in coordination with the salesperson in charge – where applicable), and thereby create and contribute to increase of sales.

7) Prepares itinerary plans for the week & sales reports, which are to be discussed with the supervisor every Monday, and/or another day, when needed.

8) Assists in appointment setting and finalization of visiting schedules of foreign suppliers.

9) Prepares market analysis for various suppliers assigned by the Supervisor.

10) Accompanies appointment visits of foreign suppliers to clients.
