Job Summary

QA Analyst handles incoming raw and packaging materials, finished goods quality testing and approval for delivery/use.

Job Description

  • Accurately conducts sampling, inspection, sensory test and physico-chem analyses on incoming materials and provide dispositions on time
  • Properly and correctly accomplishes material receiving documents and log sheets according to the standard material receiving procedure
  • Ensure that analytical instruments and reagents used for RM/PM analyses are calibrated and has correct concentration, before use, respectively, for accuracy laboratory analyses
  • Maintains a neat and legibly written analysis record, following rules on correcting errors
  • Assist in the evaluation or analysis of special samples and report test results to the QA Chemist/QA Manager
  • Assist in updating the RM/PM laboratory test methods, procedures and instructions as necessary
  • Endorses Quality Deviation Issues to QA Chemist of Incoming Material Inspection/Fats and Oils.
  • Responsible to issue NC and CAR for all RM/PM with quality issues
  • Conducts sensory test, physico-chemical analyses and other evaluation required to release work-in-process materials and semi-finished bulk, accurately on time
  • Responsible for other task assigned by his/her superior from time to time

Qualifications

  • Licensed Chemist or Chemical Technician
  • Understanding of good laboratory practices (GLP) and aseptic techniques
  • Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment, care and usage
  • Proficient in oral and written communications
  • With good time management skills
  • With good communication and interpersonal skills
