About the Role

The Treasury Reconciliations & Reporting Team Lead oversees all daily reconciliations, financial reporting, and data integrity across Blueberry's treasury ecosystem. You'll ensure every account, PSP, and ledger is accurate, compliant, and audit-ready while leading a high-performing team that drives timely reporting and strong financial controls. This role is central to safeguarding treasury accuracy, improving reconciliation efficiency, and enabling better business decisions through reliable, high-quality data.

How You'll Make an Impact

Daily Reconciliation Management

  • Supervise daily reconciliations across client funds, PSPs, banks, and internal ledgers
  • Ensure accuracy, closure of breaks, and timely investigation of variances
  • Coordinate with Payments, Compliance, Tech, and PSPs to resolve issues
  • Maintain SLA compliance and high-quality standards

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and review daily/weekly/monthly treasury reports
  • Ensure accuracy across CRM, PSP, bank, and accounting systems
  • Provide financial insights that support decision-making
  • Support audit requirements with clear documentation

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor Treasury Associates
  • Manage workload distribution and ensure deadlines are met
  • Build capability and promote ownership and accountability

Compliance, Controls & Risk Mitigation

  • Uphold internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit standards
  • Identify control gaps and strengthen risk mitigation processes
  • Ensure strict adherence to segregation of duties

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify bottlenecks and manual pain points
  • Drive process automation with Tech and Finance
  • Standardize templates and dashboards for scalable reporting

Documentation & SOP Management

  • Maintain updated SOPs and reconciliation guidelines
  • Ensure full team alignment and audit-readiness
  • Maintain accurate documentation and version control

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Proficiency in Excel, PSP systems, and reconciliation/reporting tools
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Process-driven mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

Experience

  • 5+ years in Treasury, Reconciliations, or Financial Operations (fintech/brokerage/banking preferred)
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong background in bank/PSP reconciliations, reporting, break resolution
  • Experience with audits, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Comfortable in high-volume, deadline-driven environments

Desirable

  • Knowledge of AML/regulatory requirements related to settlements
