Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the facility. The role involves troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring that all machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in minimizing downtime and improving overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and production machinery.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and determine the appropriate solutions. Utilize technical knowledge to repair and replace faulty components as needed.
  • Repairs: Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools. Test equipment to ensure proper operation after repairs.
  • Equipment Installation: Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment, including electrical wiring, plumbing connections, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols. Identify potential hazards and take proactive measures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance logs. Update documentation regularly to reflect changes or repairs made.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts inventory. Ensure that necessary materials are available when needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, engineering, and facilities management, to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and efficiency. Implement best practices and recommend upgrades to equipment or procedures.
  • Other Assigned tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php16, Php25,000.00 per month
