Career Opportunity: Accounting Assistant

This role involves maintaining financial records, preparing reports, assisting with audits, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions and assist with maintaining general ledgers.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable (invoices, payments, receipts).
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Maintain and update accounting records and files (digital and hard copy).
  • Prepare and verify expense reports and reimbursements.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Respond to accounting inquiries and provide administrative support to the finance team.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or Netsuite).
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Makati City
