About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Import and Export Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in international freight forwarding operations and a solid background in using CargoWise for shipment processing, documentation, and compliance.

You will be responsible for ensuring smooth and compliant import/export transactions, coordinating with carriers, customs, and clients, and providing end-to-end operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day import and export operations in compliance with international trade regulations.
• Prepare, review, and process shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.).
• Use CargoWise to enter, track, and manage shipments efficiently.
• Communicate with shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, and other logistics partners.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of customs entries and regulatory documentation.
• Monitor shipment schedules, track cargo, and resolve any issues or delays.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving.
• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, customer service, accounting) for smooth operational flow.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in customs regulations, trade compliance, and freight forwarding best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field (preferred but not required).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in import/export operations within freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping.
• Proficiency in CargoWise (required).
• Strong knowledge of international shipping documentation, customs procedures, and trade compliance.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
