Job Title: Information Technology HeadCompany Overview:MR DIY Philippines is a leading retail company in the Philippines, specializing in home improvement products with over 18,000 SKUs. With more than 700 stores nationwide, MR DIY Philippines is committed to providing high-quality, affordable products to its customers. Job Location:Marikina City, relocating to Eastwood by Q4 of 2025.

Work Schedule:Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm. Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Head to join our growing team. The IT Head will oversee the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of all IT systems and infrastructure within the organization.

This role ensures IT operations support business goals, drive innovation, enhance efficiency, and maintain high standards of security and compliance. Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and LeadershipDevelop and execute the organization's IT strategy aligned with overall business objectives. Lead the IT department, manage budgets, and allocate resources effectively.

Identify opportunities for new technologies to improve business processes and services. Infrastructure and Operations ManagementOversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (hardware, software, networks, cloud services). Ensure maximum uptime, performance, and security of all systems.

Cybersecurity and Risk ManagementEstablish and enforce IT security policies and procedures. Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and implement protective measures. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and standards.

Project ManagementLead major IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new software implementations. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. Vendor and Stakeholder ManagementManage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance. Team Development and LeadershipRecruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team. Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellent customer service.

Support and TroubleshootingOversee technical support activities, ensuring quick resolution of issues. Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.8-10 years of progressive IT experience, including 3-5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong experience in infrastructure management, cybersecurity, cloud computing, ERP systems, and business applications. Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Familiarity with emerging technologies like virtualization and cloud computing. Experience in budget management and cost optimization.
