Job Brief

We are looking for a skilled IT Infrastructure Head to lead our lean and dynamic IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in Microsoft Azure technologies, with strong skills in cost optimization and governance. The candidate will oversee infrastructure strategy, manage application support and maintenance teams, and drive the delivery of secured and high-quality projects for both internal and external customers. This role requires a proven leader who can collaborate across functions, ensure operational excellence, and maximize the value of our Azure investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the organization's infrastructure strategy in alignment with the business goals and meet the evolving business demands
  • Define team goals, performance metrics, and develop training plans that equip team members with the skills and resources they need to excel in their roles
  • Establish best practices, governance, and ability to lead and mentor a team of Application Support, DevOps/SRE, SysAdmin/Network/Security Engineers
  • Oversee the overall architecture for Azure infrastructure, including networking, CPU, storage, and all application requirements
  • Ensure security compliance by implementing Azure-native tools for identity management (Azure AD, Defender, Sentinel, etc.) and implementation of hardware-level security protocols for Kiosks, Platform's Web and Client applications
  • Deliver IT KPIs for high availability via Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Solutions in Azure
  • Ensure IT's SLAs are met for uptime, performance, and security
  • Manage cost optimization strategies in supporting different environments for development, staging and production
  • Work closely with the IT Application Development team and third-party partners to ensure the timely execution of vulnerability scans and remediations
  • Oversee day-to-day activities of the Infrastructure team in terms of transaction monitoring, Azure infrastructure (including virtual machines, networking, storage) health and performance monitoring using Azure Insights (ex. Grafana) and address the issues proactively to prevent downtime or kiosk processing slowdown
  • Demonstrate the ability to guide the team in documenting all monitoring results, incidents, and resolutions to maintain accurate operational records and support continuous improvement
  • Demonstrate ability to quickly learn and execute database housekeeping activities to maintain optimal performance and data integrity in partnership with IT Application Development and Data Governance Team

Qualifications and Skills Requirements

  • At least 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience with at least 5 years in cloud environments, preferably Azure
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Azure services including IaaS, PaaS, networking and other setups.  Deep understanding of cloud security, governance and compliance.
  • With proven expertise in leading large-scale Azure projects (migration, modernization or new setup).
  • Strong leadership, communication and management skills.
  • Azure expert-level certifications and Database Administration experience are a plus.
  • Graduate of BS Computer Science, BS Information Technology, BS Information Systems, and other IT related courses.
