JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain cold storage equipment such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and other refrigeration system components.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in refrigeration and electrical systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and ensure all equipment is functioning efficiently.
  • Maintain and operate supporting equipment such as Genset, dock leveler, FDAS, Fire Pro, air-conditioning units, MCC, and forklifts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and system performance.
  • Coordinate daily activities and maintenance schedules with the Plant Engineer / Engineering Supervisor.
  • Respond to emergencies and system alarms promptly and effectively.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Vocational / Technical Course in Refrigeration / Air Conditioning / Electromechanical
  2. Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Refrigeration Equipment and machinery maintenance, preferably in cold storage or equivalent.
  3. Knowledgeable in Engineering Control, specifically electrical and mechanical repairs.
  4. Can interpret drawings, documents, and instrument reading.
  5. Able to adapt to chilled and freezing environments for prolonged exposure to fast-pace movement of transactions, can work at heights, and can withstand long hours of standing and walking.
  6. NC2 DOMRAC or NC2 Electrical Installation and Maintenance Certification
