What is your mission?

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to evaluate bid specifications and drawings, prepare accurate estimates, and support project acquisition efforts. This role requires strong technical skills, proficiency in estimating software, and the ability to manage multiple bids while meeting deadlines. You will collaborate closely with contractors, clients, and internal teams to help secure projects and achieve company sales goals.

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Review bid specifications and drawings to prepare accurate project estimates
  • Complete estimates using Plan Swift, Blue Beam, and field data within required timelines
  • Submit estimates for approval at least three days prior to bid date
  • Aggressively follow up on submitted bids within three days and at regular intervals until awarded or closed
  • Conduct scope reviews to secure contracts and address client or management concerns
  • Develop expertise in company products, including installation methods and use cases
  • Meet required proposal and quote volumes to support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent communication and follow-up
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of bids
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support bid strategies and improve estimating processes
Who are we looking for?
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction estimating
  • Proficiency in Plan Swift, Blue Beam, and other estimating software
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to prepare estimates from both electronic plans and field data
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure contracts and favorable terms
  • Ability to meet proposal/quote volume targets and contribute to sales goals
  • Solid computer skills and familiarity with relevant software tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
