To lead his estimating team in the development and submission of a complete and competitive bid proposal for the project assign to him by the Assistant Manager for Bids & Estimating or the Engineering and Contracts.

  • Review of the Tender Documents regarding the Client's Requirements, Materials Specifications and Project Schedule or Timeline.
  • Prepare a checklist of all the technical and financial submittals required in the bidding documents with a target date of completion and the assigned Estimator or cadet engineer or auto-cad operator. Regularly check the progress of each item in the list to make sure it will be completed on or before the target date.
  • Attend Site Inspection and Prebid Meetings
  • Prepare the construction methodology and schedule reviewed and approved by the Assistant Manager for Bids & Estimating and AVP for Construction Operations which will be the basis for the Cost Estimates and DUPA.
  • Prepare and submit to client any clarifications regarding the tender.
  • Review and Finalize the Cost Estimate including DUPA prepared by the Estimators
  • Present the prepared technical and financial bid proposal to the Estimating Manager and upper Management for review and approval.
  • Compile and submit the singed final technical and financial bid proposal to the client before the specified deadline date and time of submission.
  • Keep files and records of the bid documents, estimates and submitted bid proposal for future reference and for turn over to project team in case of project award.
