About the role:

The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and managing training programs and learning materials for the organization. This role plays a key part in creating impactful learning experiences, managing the LMS, and supporting internal and external training initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design instructional materials, lesson plans, training modules, and learning content.
• Produce and edit training materials, ensuring clarity, structure, and alignment with learning goals.
• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), specifically Alexandria, including:
• Uploading and organizing lessons
• Implementing system updates and changes
• Ensuring content accuracy and functionality
• Coordinate with external partners such as SMAs and government agencies (e.g., TESDA) for training projects and compliance.
• Support various organizational projects assigned by the L&D Manager, including bridging programs, internal training initiatives, and external partnerships.
• Maintain structured documentation and ensure all learning content follows organizational standards.
• Ensure the L&D function embodies strong values and servant leadership.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Instructional Design, Teaching, or related fields.
• Preferably from the education sector or NGO/NPO environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles.
• Experience with LMS administration (Alexandria is a plus).
• Must demonstrate strong values, empathy, and a servant-leader mindset.
