Role Summary

The Portfolio Intelligence and Controls role is a strategic and cross-functional position responsible for delivering advanced analytics, supporting risk consultancy projects, and ensuring mandate rule governance and compliance documentation. The role collaborates closely with internal teams-including Risk, Compliance, Client Solutions, Operations, IT, and Data Analytics-to integrate portfolio intelligence across the organization. It also provides advisory services to external clients through performance attribution, diagnostics, and investment analytics. A key focus of the role is to safeguard the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of portfolio and risk data across systems, while driving the development of dashboards, tools, and reporting systems that enable data-driven investment decisions

What Business Outcomes the Role is Responsible for:

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage and coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment and integration of portfolio intelligence and controls across the organization.
  • Analytics and Risk Consultancy: Deliver high-quality risk analytics and advisory services to external clients. Conduct performance attribution, diagnostics, and investment analytics to support portfolio management and decision-making.
  • Data Integrity and Systems Management: Safeguard the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of portfolio and risk data across systems. Lead the development and enhancement of dashboards, tools, and reporting systems to improve data-driven insights.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret and validate complex portfolio and risk data.
  • Data and Analytics Expertise: Experience managing large data sets and generating actionable insights in the context of portfolio management and investment analytics.
  • Technical and Reporting Proficiency: Proven ability to develop and refine analytics tools and reports that support investment decisions and improve data quality.
