Job Responsibilities:

  • Record keeping: Maintain the general ledger, closing of the books, perform reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of all accounting records
  • Financial reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and other reports for management.
  • Accounts payable and receivable: Manage invoices, payments, and customer/client accounts
  • Fund Management: Maintain and update fund management reports, and recommend fund management actions such as foreign exchange transactions, time deposits and related activities
  • Audit support: Prepare documentation and respond to internal and external audit requests
  • Budgeting: Prepare, update, review and analyze the annual operating budget
  • Payroll: Assist in processing and overseeing payroll operations
  • Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with accounting policies and statutory regulations (e.g., taxes, SSS, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full cycle of accounting, Financial Statement analysis, tax compliance and other statutory reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office; experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is highly valued
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written, with strong interpersonal abilities
