JOB ROLE: IT Administrator

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the upkeep and efficient functioning of communication, computers, and network systems. Recommend solutions to any of the system's related issues, from diagnosis to purchasing, up to its implementation and orientation to the personnel involved.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Installs and configures new nodes, workstations, LAN services (e-mail, internet, etc.), and all related devices, including software where needed.
  • Recommends and takes charge of the purchase of the computer and accessories.
  • Maintains and troubleshoots errors and problems in workstations, servers, cabling, etc.

  • Look after the maintenance of all the computers and communication equipment:

  • Proper care and handling of all units.

  • Annual general cleaning of workstations' internal parts.

  • Provides written recommendations on computer/communication systems analysis and solutions, i.e., replacement, acquisition, and other related concerns.

  • Provides technical support to each person regarding computer problems and difficulties (hardware/software, scanning, and photocopying of documents).
  • Responsible for all the documents related to computerization and communication, i.e., the folder of proofs of purchases (O.R., S.I., etc.), warranties, program/system manuals, & other related documents.

  • Responsible for Network Security

  • Limits users' access to server and internet service

  • Regularly checks the system and workstations for viruses and intrusions.

  • Prepares PowerPoint presentations and video presentations and provides technical support during company events and activities.

  • Conducts random history check of computers
  • Recommends and is responsible for disposal of defective monitors, keyboards, and computer units after discussion with immediate superior.
  • Prepares and submits annual supplies budget. (printer inks, cables, internal parts, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a graduate of BS IT, computer science, or any IT-related field with relevant experience.
  • Must have a strong background and proficiency in network infrastructure and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Must be very keen on detail.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (at least with OJT/exposure handling basic to intermediate IT related tasks).
  • Know how to handle communications professionally and diligently.
  • The compensation offer will be based on the level of expertise and years of experience.
  • Amenable to working on-site at Sta. Ana, Manila.
  • Can start ASAP.
