About the role

ASIAN FILIPINO (ASFIL) ENGINEERING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION CO.' is seeking an experienced Bridge Engineer to join our team in Metro Manila. As a Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and construction oversight of various bridge projects, playing a crucial role in the company's infrastructure development initiatives.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conduct detailed structural analysis and design calculations for bridges, viaducts, and other large civil engineering structures
  2. Develop comprehensive engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents
  3. Collaborate with project managers, field engineers, and construction crews to ensure the successful implementation of bridge projects
  4. Perform site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and quality
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest bridge engineering codes, standards, and best practices
  6. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's engineering processes and procedures

What we're looking for


• Registered  Civil  Engineer  or equivalent certificates/ license issued by their relevant authority in their home country; MS or Doctoral Degree in related field is an added advantage.


• Experience in construction supervision of bridge projects as Sr.  Bridge Engineer: eight (8) years.


•    Must have experience in construction supervision of at least one (1) cable-stayed or extradosed bridge (for personnel to be assigned in Bridge 3).


• Experience    in    consulting    services   of    any   related

infrastructure projects in the Southeast Asia: four (4) years

ofmore.


•Strong understanding of bridge design codes, including AASHTO, Eurocode, or local Filipino standards


•Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills


•Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams


•Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality


•Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
