Our client, a leading construction company, in collaboration with globally renowned partners, is seeking a highly skilled Methods Engineer to join its dynamic engineering team on landmark projects in the Philippines.

The Role

The Methods Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution support of construction methodologies, ensuring projects are delivered with maximum efficiency, safety, and quality. This role is central to bridging design intent with practical site implementation, driving innovation in construction methods, and ensuring alignment with international standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and analyze construction methodologies (formworks, scaffolding, shoring, tower crane installation/dismantling).
  • Produce work sequence drawings, site logistics plans, and fabrication design layouts.
  • Conduct structural calculations and load capacity analyses for temporary works and construction equipment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, planners, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution on site.
  • Provide technical support to site operations, addressing engineering issues and optimizing construction methods.
  • Prepare method statements and contribute to risk assessments for major works.
Qualifications
  • Preferably a Licensed Civil Engineer, but not required, with strong background in structural and construction engineering.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience, ideally with exposure to large-scale high-rise or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledgeable in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, ETABS, STAAD, Revit, Procore, and related tools.
  • A strong grasp of Lean Construction / Six Sigma principles is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with stakeholders and subcontractors.
