Overview
The Security & Utility Staff plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace environment. This position is responsible for ensuring the upkeep of facilities, supporting operational needs, performing messengerial functions, and assisting in the implementation of safety protocols to protect employees, customers, and company property.
Roles and Responsibilities: As aSecurity & Utility Staff, you will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to:
Perform routine cleaning, sanitizing, and general maintenance tasks within the workplace. This includes, but not limited to:
Keeping individual workstations clean and tidy. This includes the monitors, keyboards, system units, chairs, tabletops and its partitions
- Restroom is dry, odor-free and in a sanitary condition
- All of the rooms are free of trash
- Trash cans are not full and all garbage are properly disposed
- Shampooing of carpets
- Walls, partitions, ceilings and doors are free of unnecessary marks and dust
Conduct pest control
Handles basic repair works, minor carpentry, plumbing, or electrical tasks as directed. But not limited to:
Regular check-up of and repair of minor damage on chairs, tables and other non-electronic office equipment
- Replacement of dimming light bulbs
- Basic electrical repair and works such as installation of additional electrical outlets
Minor plumbing repair and works such as sealing of leaking pipes and basic unclogging of clogged sink, toilet and other drainages
Ensure that equipment, tools, and work areas are properly maintained and organized.
Responsible in logistics activities such as moving furniture, supplies, or materials.
Assist in implementing workplace safety procedures, including fire drills and emergency protocols.
Report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or facility issues promptly.
Handles waste management, proper disposal, and recycling efforts.
Ensures inventory management of cleaning and safety equipment and supplies are adequate.
Support administrative and logistical functions:
Deliver and collect documents, packages, and communications within and outside the company premises.
- Purchasing office supplies or running errands for the company.
- Bank transactions
- Liaise with different Government offices
Assist in filing, photocopying, and other clerical tasks when necessary.
Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- At least High School/Vocational graduate or equivalent.
- Proven experience in utility, housekeeping, or messengerial work is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety practices preferred.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and teamwork.
Skills & Competencies:
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify and respond to potential safety issues.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to handle multiple tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php16, Php18,000.00 per month
