About the Role

The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating Loan IQ with various banking systems while ensuring high performance, security, and compliance with financial regulations. This role will also focus on the migration of integration points (HIP to RIP).

Scope of Work and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain application containers using Java (Quarkus), , Python, C#, and Go, preferably within Visual Studio Code.
  • Design and optimize database interactions using MS SQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Perform API contract testing, preferably with Postman.
  • Work with markup languages such as XML.
  • Utilize Dapr for distributed application runtime.
  • Deploy and manage applications on Azure Container Apps (ACA).
  • Implement messaging and event-driven architectures using Azure Service Bus (ASB).
  • Manage and secure APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).
  • Develop SOAP and REST APIs to support integration with core banking systems.
  • Execute tasks utilizing the Agile/Scrum framework.
  • Ensure compliance with banking security standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements and QualificationsTechnical Skills

  • Strong expertise in Java using Quarkus, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience in application development, preferably using Visual Studio Code as the primary IDE.
  • Proficiency in API development (SOAP and REST).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services such as Azure Container Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure API Management.
  • Strong knowledge of API contract testing methodologies.
  • Experience with containerization and microservices architecture.
  • Advanced database development skills using MS SQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Practical experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Familiarity with Dapr for distributed system development.

Banking & Integration Knowledge

  • Experience integrating banking systems with third-party or core platforms.
  • Understanding of Loan IQ or similar loan management systems.
  • Knowledge of financial transaction processing and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong grasp of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated financial environment.
  • Proactive approach to identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php100, Php140,000.00 per month
