About the role

We are seeking a diligent and organised Finance Assistant to join the dynamic team at Bayanilife Inc. in our Tarlac City, Tarlac office. In this full-time role, you will provide crucial support to the finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
  • Reconcile bank accounts and other financial records to ensure data integrity
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment processing
  • Maintain detailed financial records and documentation
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Contribute to the implementation of financial controls and procedures
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
  • Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and reporting standards
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
