Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control Systems: Develop and implement quality control systems and measures for access road projects.
  • Supervision: Oversee and guide QA/QC staff in their daily operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Training: Identify and address training needs for the QA/QC team to improve performance and compliance.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer complaints and non-conformance issues related to road quality.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and summarize statistical quality data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all road construction processes comply with national and international regulatory standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of testing and inspection results.
  • Corrective Actions: Create, implement, and manage corrective actions, monitoring their effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: With 5 years of experience in quality assurance/control, preferably in road construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in QA/QC methodologies and tools.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in quality management or engineering (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
