The Tutor Securing Section Manager oversees the recruitment, scheduling, and engagement of home-based tutors to ensure a stable supply that meets student demand. Reporting to the Eikaiwa Business Division Manager, this role manages the Tutor Recruitment and Tutor Engagement Departments, ensuring tutors are effectively acquired, supported, and deployed to deliver high-quality lessons.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure a stable supply of new home-based tutors through recruitment strategies and process improvements.
  • Oversee tutor hiring, onboarding, and scheduling aligned with instructional demand.
  • Monitor recruitment and engagement KPIs, reducing lead time and improving conversion rates.
  • Manage tutor support initiatives to ensure fair scheduling, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Ensure effective tutor-student matching to meet fluctuating demand.
  • Mentor and coach department managers (Recruitment and Engagement) to achieve goals.
  • Cascade directives from top management and foster collaboration across departments.
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve tutor utilization and lesson quality.
  • Uphold internal SOPs and promote accountability, innovation, and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, HR, Education, Operations Management, or related field (Master's preferred but not required).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in ESL operations, tutor management, or workforce deployment, with at least 2 years in leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, operations management, and online ESL platforms.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis, workforce planning, and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (SQL knowledge is a plus).
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Customer service orientation, with ability to drive tutor satisfaction and performance.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing demands, and motivate teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php60, Php80,000.00 per month
